Kitchen Renovation
Rustic Recycled
This character-packed home was a 100-year-old bottle shop before being converted. It is full of eclectic and rustic furniture, polished concrete floors, exposed bricks and timber. These elements heavily influenced the kitchen design and choice of materials.
The finish on the cabinet doors is actually a textured cold-press vinyl from Albedor that captures the realistic feel and character of natural timber without the required maintenance.
The recycled timber shelving and antiqued black mirrored splashback reflects the outdoor pizza oven and entertaining area. The subway-tiled splashback was meant to be the subtle wall; however, it’s become a striking focal point in this sleek and distinctive kitchen.
